My mother used it as a trivet, but it weighs 2 lb. Above the acorn stem is a hole that would fit the swing arm for the stove. The back has the numbers 40 and 1902 raised on it. You can see the square that the hole/swing arm goes to. Looks great on the colonial table, or on the wall, nice vintage piece.
